Is there something you don’t like about yourself?
If you answer yes, you are like most people, says minister and author Jerry Savelle.
“So many people today are not happy about something about themselves,” Savelle said in a recent sermon. “They’re too short, they’re too tall, they’re too fat, they’re too thin.”
Being preoccupied with your perceived shortcomings, however, gets in the way of fulfilling your potential, he says.
“It’s all designed by the devil to keep you down, to hold you back and keep you from fulfilling what God wants you to do,” Savelle preaches.
The secret, he says, is to “see yourself the way God sees you.”
“God has unlimited potential that he has placed on the inside of you,” the minister says. “ God wants you to be a success. He has plans for your life. And nobody but you can fulfill that exact plan.”
